The nominees for the best animated feature film this year are:
And the Oscar goes to:
UP
For a beautiful story of love, making dreams come true and care. It is such a good movie that it has made into the best picture category this year. This one’s got substance, brings dreams to reality, a good comic drama, good direction, good screenplay and decorated with good scenes. If only the animated characters were replaced with real physical ones Up would have been a serious threat to the likes of Avatar and others. There is this 5 min something sequence of events where the entire life of the main lead flashes before us, and I tell you I have never seen such creativity before. It is simply superb in its direction and story-telling. It has been the best animated movie I have seen in a while. Coraline doesn’t come closer to it anywhere, yes The Princess and the Frog is definitely a good watch. But Up is way above the league with a story of a simple man chasing his dreams, in the course he meets a kiddo and how things change around him is wonderful to watch.
